The last Snowman
She built her snowman
Out of the snow in her backyard
It’s chilly outside, he will fall sick, she presumed
Lovingly, she brought him in the living room
Warmth will keep him safe, she assumed
Kissed him goodnight and went off to her bedroom
In the morning, when sunlit snow glazed
To see him, she ran all alone
On the floor were the ornaments that him adorned
She cried but he was gone
Her snowman, she so adored
Her precious snowman,
She built
Out of the snow in her backyard.
