Standing by the Shore
Standing by the Lakeshore I wondered how the amazing nature does it all so flawlessly
The sounds of Gusty winds
The water flowing by the side
The birds chirping high up in the air
Wow!! What a beauty .. probably the best music for any soul
I walked along the shore
I saw the sand soaked by the waters
I asked, how it feels to you
It said, “I am weak,” so I submit myself to the waters
I go where it takes me, I carry the shells and shrubs it brings along
I was speechless
Next I turned to the rocks
I asked them, how it feels to them
They all echoed
“Our scars tell the whole story “
We are brave enough to withstand the tides
Yet the water carves us in it’s own way
Do you like it ? I asked
They all laughed, said one, ” it’s the biggest dilemma of our life “
If the water stands still, the algae shall grow on us, we will stink like hell
So the flowing water is good
It slaps us, carves us yet our love grows
Something that left me intriguing
submit oneself and keep going when you are weak and helpless
stay strong and keep going in rough times
Let your scars shine and speak aloud
Let the celebration called “life” be joyfully abound
