Trembling by the side of Oak
We travelled all the way to the west coast
Serendipitous my body felt fresh, away from my journey’s tiredness
When my hooves touched the pacific waters
He tied me here, to this oak tree, saying I will be back soon
Saddle so heavy, it feels like years gone by
Am I dreaming or my master,
Has really been away for too long now?
I am scared for his safety,
Oh! the thought is more chilling than this ‘fall’ wind
I tried to run away, free myself off from the tree
this bit hurts now, but my master..
What about him?
Shade of oak is burning me now
Will he ever return?
