After the first rain showers of Summer
The air was filled with petrichor
Grass looked more greener
My daughter wanted to go for a walk
She stepped her foot into the pothole
Setting the stranded water into motion
Then came the little pond,
She picked up a tiny stone
Threw into the pond happily.
